About this product

Hollow-cut solar path lights that throw a pattern once they light up.

8 LEDs, warm white, 36.8cm tall. Six to eight hours of sun gives 8 to 10 hours of light.

A rechargeable AAA NiMH cell does the storing, and there is no wiring at all.

The hollow cut-out is the whole design. Unlit it is a plain stake; lit, it throws a pattern onto the path and the planting around it, which is a different effect from a light that simply glows.

Eight warm white LEDs. Warm rather than cool matters outdoors, because cool white in a garden reads as security lighting.

Six to eight hours of sun gives 8 to 10 hours of light. In practice that means all evening in summer and most of it in winter.

Each one is 36.8cm tall on a 5.9cm square base, which is tall enough to clear low planting and short enough not to dominate a bed.

There is no wiring, no transformer and no electrician. Push the stake in, flip the switch, and give them a full day in the sun before you judge them.
